A collection of some early sketchbooks from the beginning of this year and the start of my semester abroad rome. I focused on using found materials (cereal boxes and recycled paper) to create portable sketchbooks with folders and pockets. I had, at this stage, intended to sketch constantly though I realized that I was more engaged with the physical creation of these books and less about filling them with drawings.
